There is a good chance he'll be gone though, if he's there they will be very lucky, if not look for them to take either OT Marcus McNeil from Auburn or the best guard available like Taitusi Lutui from USC or Davin Joseph from Oklahoma. | |
| 3-6 (#70 overall) | G Charles Spencer - Pittsburgh If the Bills don't fill their guard need in round two, they likely will add one in this round. Spencer is a powerful guard that needs some work, but he should have time to learn on the bench and not be forced to start right away. If somehow Georgia guard Max Jean-Gilles is still there, he would be the pick. | |

| 4-8 (#105 overall) | DE Julian Jenkins - Stanford The Bills on day two will look to add depth, defensive end is one place they can use some. He has some good size and power and is the intelligent player Marv Levy covets. Another possibility at this position is DE Victor Adeyanju of Indiana. | |
| 5-1 (#134 overall) | CB Marcus Maxey - Miami The Bills need as much depth at corner as they can get in Dick Jauron's cover two scheme. They love players from "The U" and Maxey is a good value pick here. He has great size for a corner, something they are lacking at the position. He's also a solid special teams player but lacks the elite speed to be a top notch cover corner. | |
| 5-10 (#143 overall) | FB Matt Bernstein- Wisconsin The Bills need to develop a protoypical fullback for the future and Bernstein could be the man. He's an outstanding lead blocker and would be a great pick at this spot. | |
| 6-9 (#178 overall) | OLB Spencer Havner - UCLA The Bills may look to add more defensive depth here and Havner has good size and speed. Could be a good development project. | |
| 7-8 (#216 overall) | WR Jeff Webb - San Diego St. The last thing the Bills need in this draft is another burner at wide receiver. They won't get one with Webb. He is a tough player who isn't afraid to go over the middle and make the hard catch. He has decent size but is slow. | |
| 7-40 (#248 overall) | RB Derrick Ross - Tarleton St. Marv Levy has always liked the players from the little schools and that is where Ross is from. The Bills may look to add some depth at running back and Ross brings them a powerful guy, something they have looked at in free agency. He may have a work ethic issue that could make the Bills shy away. If that's the case Syracuse RB Damien Rhodes or Stanford RB J.R. Lemon is a possibility. | |
