Bills Daily 2010 Mock Draft

For the 11th year in a row, Bills Daily tries to predict who the Bills will draft. Obviously these are just our best guesses along with some wishful thinking and we give you alternate picks if they players we want are gone already. If you want to do more research check our draft links.

Please e-mail us with your comments on our projections.

ROUND/PICK PREDICTION/ANALYSIS
1-9 (  #9 overall)   RB C.J. Spiller - Clemson Not a position of need or a popular choice. Gailey wants a playmaking scat back and he fits the Bill. He would be an impact player and that is what they want at this spot.
2-9 ( #41 overall)    QB Colt McCoy - Texas With all the talk about Tim Tebow I have a gut feeling they are trying to throw everyone off the trail and that McCoy is the QB they really want. Now they need to hope he lasts until the 41st pick or trade up to get him.
3-8 (#72 overall)    OT Ciron Black - LSU Projects as a right tackle but could play on the left side probably. They need to get their tackle help here if they don't get one earlier.
4-9 (#107 overall)    WR Jordan Shipley - Texas McCoy gets one of his weapons from Texas in round 4. The team needs to add wide receivers and round 4 seems to be a good spot for it.
5-9 (#140 overall)    OLB Jermaine Cunningham - Florida A bigger outside backer with adequate speed to rush the passer. He will bring much needed depth to the outside position and some extra size.
6-9 (#178 overall)    DT Mike Neal - Purdue Fans may be wondering when they will draft a defensive tackle. Here's the place but Neal obviously won't be an immediate impact player. I think the team figures Kyle Williams will be able to hold his own in the middle.
6-23 (#192 overall)    OG Marshall Newhouse - TCU He has good size and weight along with strength. A project type player who would add depth to the interior of the offensive line.
7-2 (#209 overall)    WR Blair White - Michigan St. White adds to the depth at a need position and brings the Bills a player who has played on a big time college level. He is a good over the middle option.
7-9 (#216 overall)    OT Jeraill McCuller - NC State More depth for the tackle position. He is a very tall and big tackle to add bulk to the undersized line.
