ROUND/PICK |
PREDICTION/ANALYSIS |
1-10 ( #10 overall) |
LB Haason Reddick - Temple Sean McDermott has said that Reggie Ragland and Preston Brown both project to be in the middle of their three man linebacking corps. That means Lorenzo Alexander and Ramon Humber are the starters on the outside. An immediate upgrade is needed and Reddick would fit perfectly in this defense. He has the versatility that McDermott covets. He has played defensive end and even safety in high school. He's fast and athletic and would fill a huge hole on defense. |
2-12 ( #44 overall) |
CB Teez Tabor - Florida The Bills go defense with their first two picks. If they don't get a top corner in round one they should take advantage of the depth at the position in round two and get a player that can start right away in the speedy Tabor. He's got prototypical size and great speed to be an impact player right away. |
3-11 ( #75 overall) |
WR Mack Hollins - North Carolina If the Bills don't address the receiving corps in the first two rounds they better take on in round three in order to get one who can possibly step right into the number two spot. Hollins has a shot to do that as he is a deep threat which fits in well with Tyrod Taylor's strength and has tremendous size at 6'4" that they really need. |
5-12 (#156 overall) |
OT Aviante Collins - TCU The Bills need to add depth at the tackle position and should pick at least one on day three of the draft. He had 29 college starts at Right Tackle which is a position they desperately need bodies at. |
5-19 (#163 overall) |
QB Chad Kelly - Ole Miss Kelly is expected to be around until day three of the draft due to his wrist and ACL injuries along with off the field concerns. His character could be a problem for McDermott but I'm sure his Uncle Jim has assured the Bills he would be a steal and will be on the straight and narrow. |
5-28 (#171 overall) |
RB Brian Hill - Wyoming The Bills have a history of taking running backs in the 5th round so with three selections this year it's easy to see them taking one to replace Mike Gillislee. Hill is a big, tough back with a lot of carries under his belt. |
6-11 (#195 overall) |
OT Conor McDermott - UCLA They won't take this guy because of his last name but because they desperately need bodies at tackle with the off the field concerns of Cyrus Kouandjio and Seantrel Henderson. He played left tackle as a three year starter in the Pac 10 but also played right tackle at the Senior Bowl. He is a huge guy with good run blocking skills. |
