Players will restructure their contracts to save cap money for the Bills for the 2002 season while others will rip up their contracts and sign, in most cases, cap friendly contracts. To save cap money on restructured contracts the Bills convert base salaries into signing bonuses. This way the players will get the same money but it will count less against this year's cap pushing cap dollars into future seasons. The figures listed are approximate.
