Marshawn Lynch is back practicing and will play on Thursday night against Detroit. He did some conditioning drills and running during Monday's walk through practice and then practiced on Tuesday. He should be fine for opening day as well. 8/31
Fred Jackson returned to practice on Tuesday and got his cast off of his broken left hand. He is wearing a bulky brace however that keeps him from carrying the ball in that hand. He hopes to get a new type of brace that will allow him to carry the ball. Depending on his pain tolerance, which he says is pretty high, he could be ready for opening day or if not, the week afater. 8/31
Ed Wang underwent surgery on his left thumb on August 3rd and is out 4-8 weeks. He did return to practice on Tuesday with a heavily wrapped 8/31
Kawika Mitchell missed Tuesday's practice getting something checked out. It's not considered anything big. 8/31
Kyle Williams remains sidelined after getting banged up in the win over Indy. He did not play against Cincinnati but that was a precaution. He should play against Detroit. 8/31
Jairus Byrd is expected to be ready for opening day according to Chan Gailey. He still is not practicing or present at practice. He underwent groin surgery for the third time in two years. He had groin surgery that cut his rookie season short. He also had sports hernia surgery two years ago. Reports now say that it is not related to last year's groin injury and not as severe. It's not expected to linger as well. 8/31
Donovan Woods has been sidelined a week with an undisclosed injury. 8/31
Cary Harris returned to practice on Tuesday after being sidelined with an undisclosed injury. He missed the Bengals game. 8/31
Demetrius Bell continues his recovery from a torn ACL last season. He is getting more time off than most players as they ease him back into shape. He played four series against Cincinnati for a total of 22 plays which was a nice sign. 8/28
Eric Wood has returned from a fractured tibula and fibula of the lower left leg suffered late last season. He took part in all of the first team reps against Cincinnati. 8/28
James Hardy returned to practice on Wednesday night after missing over two weeks with a foot injury. He practice even more on Thursday and saw some action against Cincinnati. 8/28
Keith Ellison returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday night's practice because of a flare up according to Chan Gailey. He did play against Cincinnati. 8/28
Marcus Easley had surgery on his knee and has been placed on injured reserve ending his season. He hurt his knee when he came down awkwardly on it during a practice session early in training camp. Now they are rumblings that his injury isn't that severe and could have returned in late September. That is unconfirmed and moot now that he's on IR> 8/28
Michael Matthews injured his lower left leg and was originaly placed on the waived/injured list. He has now transitioned to the injured reserve list. 8/26
Daniel Batten left practice early on Aug 1 with a shoulder injury. He has been placed on injured reserve ending his season. He was originally thought to be out 2-6 weeks.8/23
Shawn Nelson missed the Colts game because of a pulled muscle he suffered in practice earlier in the week. He remains sidelined. 8/22
Reggie Torbor is expected to be sidelined three weeks with an undisclosed injury. He was undergoing more tests over the weekend. 8/21
Derek Schouman is expected to miss 3-6 weeks with a knee injury suffered in the win over Indianaplis. 8/21
Jon Corto will be out until the third preseason game likely because of wrist surgery he underwent after the summer workouts. 7/30
