Bills Open At Home: For the fourth year in a row the Bills open at home as Jacksonville comes to town. All eight home games are 1pm starts on Sunday. The team has one primetime game, an 8:30 Sunday night matchup in New England on Nov. 14th. They have an early bye this year after having it come in the middle of the season the past two years. They are off week 3. Other schedule notes include a season finale at home in January against Pittsburgh and a rare December trip to Miami. Complete Team Schedule.
Bills/Jets Set: The New York Daily News is reporting that the Bills will travel to New York to play the Jets at 4:05pm on October 10th. The Jets travel to Buffalo on November 7th for a 1pm start. Losman To Visit: A report out of Green Bay says that Tulane quarterback J.P. Losman is scheduled to visit the Bills later this week for a pre-draft look. Losman is considered the fourth best quarterback in the draft on most boards and may be available when the Bills pick in the 2nd round of the draft.

Bills Lose Out On Kozlowski: The pool of free agent tight ends just got tighter for the Bills. After losing out on Roland Williams they have now lost out on Brian Kozlowski. The Falcons free agent has signed with the Washington Redskins.
Preseason Dates Announced: The Bills have announced the dates and times for their four preseason games. As we reported last month they will play the first two games at home against Denver and Tennessee. We now know they will play Denver on Sunday night Aug. 15th at 7pm and Tennessee the following Saturday at the same time. They will take to the road for their final two preseason contests against Indianapolis and Detroit. They will play the Colts on Saturday night Aug. 28th at 8pm and the Lions on the following Thursday at the same time. Schedule Tomorrow: You can start making your fall plans tomorrow evening. The NFL will release their schedule live at 5pm on the NFL Network. The network is only seen on DirecTV and a few cable systems nationwide. For those of you without the network you can watch it live on NFL.com. We will also have the Bills schedule on Bills Daily shortly after it is released on our homepage and on our schedule page.
Brass On Draft: Bills brass talked to the media about the upcoming draft at a luncheon yesterday. Tom Donahoe said that the team does not need to draft a player in the first round that has to provide an immediate impact this year. He also said that if a top quarterback is available, it would be tough to pass up. Tom Modrak concurred that it is a good draft for QBs but the talent is hard to evaluate at that position in particular.

Off Season Program Continues: The Players continue their off season work at the facilities at One Bills Drive. The team's website says players workout four days a week from 7:30am to 12:30pm with new Strength and Conditioning Coach Brad Roll and assistant John Allaire. Players do a cardio and weight workout and the coach talks to them about nutrition and what they should and should not eat.
