Ticket Sales Continue To Climb
Texans Game Soldout: The Texans game on November 1st became the fourth game considered a sellout and individual tickets will not be available for this game. That leaves just the final three regular season home games Miami, New England, and Indianapolis with individual tickets left. Those tickets may go quickly when group sales become available to the public tomorrow morning at 9am.
Whitner Hearing Delayed: Donte Whitner appeared in court today briefly. His hearing was delayed until July 31st but he does not have to appear since training camp will be underway already. A plea deal is being worked out to settle the case. Whitner was arrested earlier this offseason when he was tasered by an off duty police officer during a fight outside a Cleveland nightclub.
UFL Bills: The fledging UFL held their draft yesterday and two former Bills were drafted by a former Bill. Larry Tripplett and Eric Powell will play for Orlando who is coached by Jim Haslett. J.P. Losman was not drafted but most QBs in the league are protected and it is widely assumed that Losman will be playing for Jim Fassel's team in Las Vegas. Fassel could be the guy to finally develop Losman's talents.

Bills Host Mass Workout: The Bills held a mass workout of more than 100 players today at Ralph Wilson Stadium's fieldhouse. The team held a similiar workout last year. They use it to be proactive so they have good information on players in case they are needed down the line. 90% of the players are fresh out of college many from small schools including three University of Buffalo players. Many of the players were on the Bills undrafted free agent list to sign. The players come at their own expense and rarely are signed on the spot. There are few avenues for these players as their is no arena league this year and NFL Europe is no longer around. There will be a spot for these type of players with the United Football League set to begin. J.P. Losman has been rumored to be going to this league.
