Miller to Visit: The league may be shutdown but college prospects continue their visits with NFL clubs. Several reports say that LB Von Miller will visit the Bills tomorrow and Thursday. LB Patrick Peterson also reportedly will visit Buffalo.
Bills Release Statement: With the NFL shutdown by a lockout and the decertification of the union, Bills CEO Russ Brandon released a statement yesterday saying the administration is still working towards the draft and continuing day to day operations. His statement said in part, "We share our fans' disappointment with the news on Friday that the NFLPA has filed for decertification and a work stoppage has begun. We remain hopeful that a new and fair agreement can be reached in time to avoid any significant disruption to our preparations for the 2011 season. We believe that the quickest way to a fair agreement for everyone -- players, teams and fans -- is through negotiations facilitated by the mediator and not through litigation." The Bills announced their second annual premium seat holder and state of the Bills event will take place on March 28th. They will also hold their annual draft party.

Bills Meet With Newton: Cam Newton held his pro day workout along with fellow Auburn teammates yesterday. Tom Modrak was on hand for the Bills. NFL.com's Gil Brandt reports that Newton and his agents Bus Cook and Tony Paige had dinner with the Bills representatives on Monday night. That pretty much clinches that the Bills at least have more than a passing interest in the quarterback.
