Bills Add Controversial Guard Richie Incognito
Ryan Feels Gilmore Can Be Elite: Rex Ryan appeared on WGR today and said he feels Stephon Gilmore can be an elite corner. He feels he can get more interceptions but the bottom line is that there are not too many passes completed against him. They feel they are three deep at outside corner and have two solid nickel guys. On the offensive line, Ryan didn't rule out adding another guard or tackle. At quarterback, he said EJ Manuel will be given a chance but they will explore all avenues for another quarterback. He feels Manuel must move more to be successful and he has a chance to be a good one.
Incognito On His Comeback: Richie Incognito told Jeff Darlington of the NFL Network that he wants to prove he's not a racist jerk. Incognito said he told the Pegulas in an hour long meeting that he has learned from the situation. Both the Pegulas and Incognito said they know this is his last chance. He said he's learned how to be a better person, teammate, and leader. Rex Ryan said on WGR today that he is against bullying and he's sure Incognito has changed.
Hughes Wants To Stay: Jerry Hughes appeared on SiriusXM NFL radio yesterday and said he absolutely wants to stay in Buffalo. He didn't appear against receiving the franchise tag either but would prefer the security of a long term contract. The franchise tag figure for a defensive end will be worth around $15 Million. Rex Ryan was on WGR today and said that Hughes and any good defensive player would love to play in this defense alongside the great pro bowl defensive linemen on the team.

Incognito Has Signed Deal: The signing of Richie Incognito is now official. He agreed to terms on Saturday but they needed league approval before making it official. Terry Pegula released a statement on the signing saying, "I personally met with Richie, along with Doug Whaley, Rex Ryan and Kim regarding an opportunity to earn a spot on the Buffalo Bills roster. Obviously, we all discussed Richie's past experience in the NCAA and NFL. We are convinced that Richie is prepared to move forward and has and will continue to take the necessary steps to improve himself as a person and a teammate.
