Stats Matchup
The Bills are riding high this week after getting back on track with dominating win over the Redskins. The Chiefs are riding higher as they remained undefeated with a Monday night victory over Oakland. Kansas City must avoid a letdown in their second prime time matchup in a row. The Bills need to keep up the intensity they had over Washington if they are going to pull off the upset in a place that has not been kind to them over the years.

INJURY UPDATE

The Bills are slowly getting healthy. Eric Moulds hopes to return this week after missing two straight games with a groin tear. With the bye week looming the team may chose to rest the star so he can fully heal from the injury. Ron Edwards has missed two straight games with a shoulder injury and will remain very questionable for this game. Sammy Morris has missed four games in a row after undergoing hernia surgery, he is getting better and hopes for a return this week as well. OT Mike Williams suffered a neck strain against the Redskins but is ok to play this week. Willis McGahee is practicing with the team but probably won't see action until after the bye.

The Chiefs were without LB Fred Jones (former Bill) and DE R-Kal Truluck against Oakland. QB Trent Green and LB Shawn Barber suffered knee contusions against the Raiders. S Greg Wesley suffered a sprained ankle on Monday night.

KEY MATCHUPS

Bills Kick Coverage vs. KR Dante' Hall:
Hall is the best kick returner to come along in a long time. He has four returns for scores this year and the Bills are going to need to do some unique assignments to keep him under wraps. Look for them to do directional kickoffs and high directional punts to minimize his returns.

DT Pat Williams and Sam Adams vs. RB Priest Holmes:
Holmes may be the best in the game. The Bills must stop him from getting yards in the middle to contain him from having a big day.

CB Nate Clements vs. WR Johnnie Morton:
Morton is the Chiefs leading receiver and Clements will be lined up against him most of the time. He needs to shutdown Morton to take a dimension away from the Chiefs offense.

RB Travis Henry vs. LB Shawn Barber:
Barber leads the Chiefs in tackles and the Bills will need to account for him when Henry runs and he also has three sacks so they have to watch for him rushing the passer.

S Lawyer Milloy vs. TE Tony Gonzalez:
Gonzalez is one of the best tight ends in the game and Milloy will likely be watching him the entire game. This would be a good time for Milloy to have one of his better games.

DE Aaron Schobel vs. LT Willie Roaf:
The Chiefs may have the best offensive line in the league and Roaf is a crafty veteran. If Schobel can get pressure on Green that may go a long way towards a successful defensive plan. This is easier said then done however.

GAME PLAN

When The Bills Have The Ball: The Bills established a running game finally last week and Henry seems to be playing with added intensity. Look for the Bills to use last week's blueprint. If they can establish the run it will open up the play action passing game that confused the Redskins last week. The Chiefs are near the bottom in the league in all three defensive categories and the Bills should be able to move the football if they can deal with the crowd noise.

When The Chiefs Have The Ball: The way to attack the Bills third ranked defense is on the ground and the Chiefs have one of the best in the league to do it in Holmes. Look for them to run, run, and run some more with Holmes. If he is able to get big chunks of yardage the Bills could then be in serious trouble in this game. When they do throw Trent Green should have time as his offensive line is excellent in pass protection.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

This will be a really tough game for the Bills and there only chance at winning will be to play like they did the first two weeks and last week. The Chiefs are undefeated and if you subscribe to the philosophy that they are due for a loss then the Bills may be able to squeak out a victory. We think they will and are predicting the monumental upset that could catapult the team to the second half of the season:
Bills 20, Chiefs 17

Season Prediction Record: (5-2)
Season Record Against The Spread: (5-2)
