Week 15: Bills vs. Jets
at
Sunday, Dec. 14th
1:00pm ET
The Bills are just playing at the string while the Jets try to right the ship after losing their last two games. This game means a lot for New York while the Bills are just really playing for pride. Something they have not shown a lot of recently. J.P. Losman will once again likely be at quarterback and will try to put on a better show for potential future employers.

INJURY UPDATE

It appears like Trent Edwards will likely miss his second straight game as he has yet to return to practice with his groin injury. Aaron Schobel and Dustin Fox will be out and Jabari Greer may be another week away from returning. Marcus Stroud is slowed with a hip injury.

The Jets will likely be without WR Brad Smith who suffered a head injury last week. WR Laveranues Coles has a thigh injury that has slowed him but he will likely play. They are otherwise fairly healthy for this late in the year.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

C Duke Preston vs. NT Kris Jenkins:
Preston struggled with Jenkins earlier this season and there is no reason to believe he will play any better this time around against what may be the best defensive player in the league this year.

DT Marcus Stroud vs. RB Thomas Jones:
Jones is a solid running back who will be a handful for the Bills this week. If Stroud does his job the linebackers should be able to stop him before he gets to the second level.

LT Jason Peters vs. OLB Calvin Pace:
Peters has to watch for Pace who is very active and has five sacks on the season. Peters has played better of late but got taken to school by Joey Porter last week for the second time this season. Pace had a good day in the first meeting as well.

RT Langston Walker vs. DE Shaun Ellis:
Walker has to watch out as Ellis leads the Jets with eight sacks. With Losman holding the ball too long he may see a lot of Ellis in this game.

LB Kawika Mitchell vs. TE Dustin Keller:
Mitchell may get help with the developing rookie and will need it. Keller has become one of Favre's go to receivers.

WR Lee Evans vs. CB Darrelle Revis:
Revis is another one of the Jets rising young stars. They may lock him up with Evans all game long. Revis is a ball hawk who has four interceptions on the season.

GAME PLAN

When The Bills Have The Ball: Everyone has been talking about the Bills establishing a running attack. This may not be the week to do that depending on the weather conditions. The Jets are excellent against the run while near the bottom of the league defending the pass so the Bills may look to attack through the air.

When The Jets Have The Ball: Despite having the great Brett Favre this team's identity is the running attack. Look for them to run the ball early and often mixing Leon Washington in with Jones. That will open up the play action passing game.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

It is very hard to see the Bills doing anything to win this game. It means so much for the Jets and they have more talent then the Bills. The only hope they have is playing hard to try and save their coach's job. I don't think they have enough character to do that. The good news is, I think they will actually score a touchdown this week... but just one:
Jets 20, Bills 10

Season Prediction Record: (8-5)
Season Record Against The Spread: (9-4)
