Week 16: Bills vs. Cowboys
at
Sunday, Dec. 27th
1:00pm ET
The Bills begin to play out the string with the first of two home games to close out the very disappointing season. A victory would be meaningless except it would likely stop the griping to the media that has taken place recently. It is hard to see this team finding any motivation against any team even the woeful Cowboys who will be starting their 4th quarterback of the season at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday.

INJURY UPDATE

The Bills ended the season of Robert Woods, Randell Johnson, and Seantrel Henderson this week by placing the first two on injured reserve and Henderson on the Non Football Injury list. LeSean McCoy won't play this week after suffering an MCL injury against Washington. John Miller is iffy after aggravating his high ankle sprain last week. Boobie Dixon and Bacarri Rambo have banged up knees. The team hopes to get Charles Clay, Nigel Bradham, and Ron Brooks back this week from their injuries that has had them sidelined. Stefan Charles is battling a strained shoulder and Chris Hogan has a wrist injury.

The Cowboys are pretty healthy with the exception of their starting quarterback of course. Tony Romo remains out with his second separated shoulder of the season. WRs Cole Beasley and Dez Bryant have missed practice time this week. Bryant is getting rest of his surgically repaired foot. CB Morris Claiborne is battling a hamstring injury that has cost him some practice time.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

LB Preston Brown vs. RB Darren McFadden:
Brown his tied for the team lead in tackles and will be the man that needs to stop the resurgent McFadden who is closing in on a 1,000 yard season.

WR Sammy Watkins vs. CB Morris Claiborne:
Watkins is putting together a fantastic second half of the season and Claiborne will be the man responsible to slow him down most of the game.

RT Jordan Mills vs. LDE DeMarcus Lawrence:
Mills has struggled since taking over the starting job for the ill Seantrel Henderson. He goes up against a very good pass rusher in Lawrence who leads the Cowboys with 7 sacks.

S Corey Graham vs. TE Jason Witten:
Graham will likely be in charge of stopping Witten. The aging tight end is still very reliable and leads the Cowboys in catches and receiving yards.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Get Motivated: Can they find a way to get up for a game that means nothing near the end of a very disappointing season?

2. Play Together: Off the field this team is more of a mess than it is on the field. Can they all get on the same page and put together a solid game?

3. Pressure Moore: The Cowboys are giving Kellen Moore is first NFL start in the second game played in his four year career. The Bills defensive front needs to get pressure on him to get him rattled. This won't be easy against one of the best offensive lines in football.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

The season has unraveled on and off the field. The playoffs are gone and the team did a lot of finger pointing in the locker room since Sunday's loss in Washington. You would think this team has hit rock bottom but a loss to a Kellen Moore led Cowboys team at home would sink them to new depths of despair. The way this team seems to be falling apart off the field it's hard to think they could put it together on the field to beat anyone:
Cowboys 23, Bills 14

Season Prediction Record: (8-6)
Season Record Against The Spread: (7-7)
