INJURY UPDATE

The Bills are very banged up with six players ruled out early in the week as Tyrod Taylor, Sammy Watkins, Kyle Williams, Seantrel Henderson, Percy Harvin, and Karlos Williams are sitting. Two others that are sidelined are Marquise Goodwin and Aaron Williams. Goodwin was placed on IR this week and Williams is on IR designated to return. Marcus Easley is back practicing after missing last week's game against Cincinnati with a shoulder injury and hopes to play. Corey Graham has missed practice time this week with a groin injury but is expected to play.

The Jaguars are banged up too starting with RB T.J. Yeldon who has missed practice this week with a groin injury. WRs Allen Hurns (Ankle/Thigh) and Marqise Lee (Hamstring) have missed practice time as well this week. WR Allen Robinson should be able to go despite being slowed by a leg injury. Safeties Jonathan Cyprien (Calf)and James Sample (Shoulder) are banged up as well.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

Bills DL vs. OL Coach Doug Marrone:
You can't do a preview article without mentioning the Bills facing their old coach Doug Marrone. The Bills DL is under a microscope right now (see keys to the game) and need to have a big game. They would like nothing better than make Marrone's group look bad.

S Corey Graham vs. TE Julius Thomas:
With his solid coverage skills the Bills will likely try to keep Graham against the now healthy Thomas. This is a big battle since Thomas is one of the better tight ends in the league.

RB LeSean McCoy vs. LB Paul Posluszny:
McCoy will need a big game this week for the Bills banged up offense to perform (see keys to the game below). The former Bill Posluszny is still a tackling machine.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Let DL Loose: The controversy of the week has been the defensive linemen, specifically Marcell Dareus and Mario Williams, letting their displeasure known about the scheme. It's time to let them pin their ears back and attack the quarterback. Ryan indicated changes in the scheme were coming let's see if that happens this week.

2. Keep Emotions In Check: Especially on special teams where they have taken some bone headed penalties. They have been struggling so they need to stop beating themselves as well.

3. Rely On McCoy: With the wide receiving corps depleted and Taylor banged up at QB the team more than ever has to rely on the running and ride on the back of LeSean McCoy.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

If the Bills lose this game the season will spiral out of control with the team below .500 at the bye week. If they can't beat the Jaguars they are not a good football team but with the littany of injuries they have nothing is a given. EJ Manuel has to be fired up to prove that Marrone made a mistake benching him last year so I think the Bills will find a way to pull this one out:
Bills 23, Jaguars 13
