INJURY UPDATE

The Bills have a quarterback situation this week with Taylor battling a patella tendon contusion. He was back on the practice field on Thursday but is iffy for Sunday's game. John Miller remains sidelined with an ankle injury and Seantrel Henderson has missed practice time with a back injury this week. Tre'Davious White and Travaris Cadet are in concussion protocol but on the practice field. Kelvin Benjamin is likely back this week after missing a few weeks with a torn meniscus.

The Colts have had a few players missing practice time this including WR Donte Moncrief, CB Rashaan Melvin, TE Darrell Daniels, C Mike Person, and DT Johnathan Hankins.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

RB LeSean McCoy vs. LB Jonathan Bostic:
Shady needs a big day in December weather conditions. Bostic is the leading tackler for Indy.

LT Dion Dawkins vs. OLB Jabaal Sheard:
Dawkins will likely still get the call even though Cordy Glenn is back practicing. Sheard leads the team with 4½ sacks.

CB Tre'Davious White vs. WR T.Y. Hilton:
Assuming White is cleared to play he should be shadowing Hilton all over the field. He is by far the best offensive weapon the Colts have. If White can't go, then E.J. Gaines should get that call.

LB Preston Brown vs. RB Frank Gore:
The wiley veteran Gore is still a solid back and Brown is the man in the middle that needs to stop him from the big gainers.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Force Turnovers: It's time to get the takeaway machine working again.

2. Get Shady Going: The offense is struggling mightily no matter who is under center so they need to feed LeSean McCoy early and often.

3. Pressure Brissett: The weather will be uncomfortable enough for the indoor playing QB they need to make it more uncomfortable by putting a lot of pressure on him.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

This has the makings of a low scoring December game in Orchard Park. I got to think the Bills find a way to beat the lowly Colts. If they don't, then things will spiral even more out of control then they already are:
Bills 16, Colts 9

Season Prediction Record: (6-6)
Season Record Against The Spread: (4-6-2)
