Edwards Day To Day: Trent Edwards spoke to the media has camp broke today. He said he doesn't know yet if he'll play on Sunday. There is nothing structurally wrong with the knee area and he feels it's a day to day thing. He feels the team made a lot of progress in training camp and likes the diversity of the offense. He's excited to see where it will go when the season starts.

Edwards Has Quad Contusion: The injury suffered in practice last night by Trent Edwards is considered a deep quad bruise as his thigh collided with the knee cap of Marshawn Lynch. They treated it quickly in the locker room to keep the swelling down. How it responds today will go a long way in determining how long he'll be sidelined. He was on the field for about five minutes after the collision. Lynch finished practice but was also treated afterwards for soreness in his knee from the collision. Injury Page.
