He made five starts for the Dolphins last year and can play all there linebacker positions. He has made 39 starts the past four years and has never missed a game in his career. Passing Game Improves: The passing game showed marked improvement last night from what they accomplished during the first night practice on Tuesday. Trent Edwards continues to develop good chemistry with Lee Evans who caught two touchdown passes. The running game continues to struggle a bit against the defense. Because of injuries and absences players like Chris Ellis, George Wilson, and Demetrius Bell received more reps.
Simpson Has MRI: Ko Simpson was one of the many players to miss last night's practice. He went to have an MRI on his surgically repaired ankle. It appears the move was just to give him and the team piece of mind. Dick Jauron said he believes the results were negative but he hadn't talked to the doctors as of the end of last night's practice. Steve Johnson and Angelo Crowell continue to be held out because of knee problems. Johnson is a day or two away from returning. Crowell's problem is a concern since he also had it last year in camp. Offense Struggles Under The Lights: In front of more than 3,000 people during the first night practice of training campt he offense didn't bring their A game. Trent Edwards struggled with his accuracy, and receivers struggled with drops. Only two touchdowns were scored offensively one coming during red zone drills. Edwards chalked up the struggles to new plays being implemented that day and not being used to practicing at night in front of all the fans.

TEs To Play FB: Last year the Bills didn't have a fullback so they used tight ends in the H-back role. With the new inclusion of a fullback to the offense it was thought the tight ends would just stay on the line but that isn't the case. Dick Jauron said tight ends will learn the fullback position as well, especially two of them presumed to be Derek Schouman and Derek Fine. This will add flexibility and maybe allow the team to carry just one fullback which would likely be Darian Barnes.

There were one on one blocking and pass rushing drills for the first time this summer. According to the team's website FB Darian Barnes shined in this session. No Discipline For Lynch: While visiting Bills training camp today, commissioner Roger Goodell said that there will be no league disciplinary action taken against Marshawn Lynch.
