Two Sets Of Grades? I almost should give the Bills two sets of grades position by position. Almost all units failed the first half but must have crammed at halftime and really brought their grades up in the second half as they blew past the Rams. Gameday Grades.
Bills Win 31-14: It was another slow start for the Bills, followed by another solid second half as the Bills came from behind to beat the Rams 31-14 in a game that was much closer then the final score. The Bills struggled on both sides of the ball in the first half and trailed 14-6 at halftime. A Fred Jackson 22 yard touchdown run got them within one and then Jabari Greer returned a Trent Green interception 33 yards for a score to give the Bills the lead on the first play of the fourth quarter and they never looked back. Trent Edwards hit Lee Evans for a 39 yard touchdown pass to wrap up the scoring. Game Review.
McGee Hurt:Terrence McGee left the game in the first quarter after suffering a sprained knee. Dick Jauron said he may miss some time. It was heavily wrapped on the sidelines and he did not return. Marcus Stroud hurt his left shoulder in the second quarter but he did return quickly. Jason Peters was shaken up in the 2nd quarter and missed a couple of plays. Injury Page.
Barnes Out; Schouman Starts At TE: Three players will not play because of injury. Darian Barnes will not go today which is a bit of a surprise after he practiced on Friday. Jason Whittle is active for the first time this year and is expected to see time at fullback. Roscoe Parrish and Derek Fine are inactive with thumb injuries. The other inactives are: Xavier Omon, Derrick Ellis, Reggie Corner, and Demeterius Bell. Derek Schouman gets the start at tight end over Robert Royal.
Whitner Not Fined: Adam Schefter of the NFL Network reports that Donte Whitner will not get fined for his late hit five yards deep in the end zone last week against the Raiders. The players on the team universally applauded the hit and some say it was a turning point of the attitude of the team.
First Dome Game of Season: The Bills head indoors to play football for the first time this year as they play in the big dome in St. Louis so weather obviously will not be a factor in this game.

Rams Divided: It's always rough when you start off 0-3 as the Bills could attest too last year. The Rams are in danger of unraveling as they appear to be a team divided. Their best player, RB Steven Jackson, went on his radio show this week and ripped the change at quarterback. Marc Bulger has been benched and he is not happy about it saying he doesn't want to play for head coach Scott Linehan anymore. Meanwhile rookie WR Donnie Avery is guaranteeing he will score a touchdown in this game. It will be interesting to see how the Rams react on the field tomorrow, they have nothing to lose and could give the Bills a good battle. If the Bills get off to a good start then that could be enough to send the Rams into a tailspin.

Barnes Practices: Darian Barnes took part in practice today on a limited basis and feels he can play on Sunday. Dick Jauron is taking a wait and see approach. He feels good that Barnes practiced today. It appears if he can't go Jason Whittle will play fullback. Injury Page.

Barnes Feels Ok: Darian Barnes underwent an MRI yesterday and the results were negative. He says he feels fine and should be ok for Sunday. He was working with the trainers on the sidelines during today's practice. Many of the fullback reps were taken by guard Jason Whittle. Derek Fine remains sidelined with his thumb injury and has been ruled out of Sunday's game.
Parrish Out 4-6 Weeks: Roscoe Parrish is the latest Bill to have thumb surgery. He injured it early in the 4th
quarter of Sunday's game and has surgery yesterday to repair the ligament. Since it's not a bone issue he's not in too much pain. He's expected to be out for 4-6 weeks. He was able to finish the game and made some big plays, including a touchdown catch, after the injury. It is assumed that Leodis McKelvin will take over the punt return duties but Dick Jauron hasn't ruled out using Fred Jackson. Justin Jenkins and James Hardy will get more reps at wide receiver. Injury Page.
Toronto Tix Available: For all the hoopla around the Bills games in Toronto, the first regular season game there is not soldout yet. Organizers for the Bills Toronto series say tickets that are left will go on sale next Wednesday with prices starting at $105. They are available in most sections and in most price ranges.
Bills Look To Keep Rolling: The Bills head to St. Louis for their first of two straight road contests before the bye. They are heavy favored over a Rams team that has struggled mightily in losing their first three games. The Bills need to get off to a fast start to demoralize the Rams or else their crowd can get in the game and make things tough. Buffalo should have learned their lesson last week and shouldn't take the Rams lightly. Complete Preview.

QB Change In St. Louis: The Bills will be seeing a different quarterback when they go to St. Louis. They have decided to bench Mark Bulger and replace him with veteran Trent Green. It will be interesting to see how this move effects the game. The Bills now have to prepare for a different quarterback but one that has a lot of history in the league.
Barnes Feeling Better: Darian Barnes underwent his MRI today and results will be known tomorrow. Chris Brown reports for the team's website that Barnes is feeling better is no longer on crutches. He hopes it's just a deep bone bruise. Injury Page.

Barnes To Have Tests: Dick Jauron would not elaborate any further today on the injury to Darian Barnes. He did say he underwent tests today but the results were not immediately available. It appears unlikely that Barnes will play Sunday. His role would likely be filled by TE Derek Schouman. Injury Page.
Barnes Hurt In Win: The one potentially serious injury suffered by the Bills in the win over the Raiders was to Darian Barnes. He hurt his right foot on his second reception in the first half and did not return. He was on crutches and wearing a walking boot after the game. He has a lot of swelling and hopes he'll be ok to play next week but they should know more in a day or two. Injury Page.
