Dog Days Of The Offseason Here
Alumni Weigh In On QB Battle: Two Hall of Fame former playes weighed in over the last two days on the Bills quarterback battle and both backed a different horse. Thurman Thomas appeared on WGR's Howard Simon show on Thursday and said the Bills should go with Brian Brohm as the starting quarterback. Thomas said there is just something about him and he had a great conversation with him. Thomas said Brohm was picking his brain about how Jim Kelly used to do things. Speaking of Kelly, he was at the Bisons game last night for Hunter's Hope night and he said Trent Edwards should be the starting quarterback. This was a bit of a surprise because of comments he made in November about Edwards where he said they needed to get another quarterback not from California. Kelly feels Edwards couldn't succeed behind an offensive line that stunk and an awful offensive scheme. Kelly ripped the scheme which was run by his good friend Alex Van Pelt. He feels Chan Gailey can develop the offense and they need to hope the line stays healthy. Who do you think should be the quarterback? Take our poll on our homepage and let us know!

Challenging Training Camp Ahead: The days of Club Marv and the easy camps of Dick Jauron are long gone. When the players head to St. Johns Fisher College for the start of training camp in a month they will be very busy. Chan Gailey said they will spend most of the time in pads because they need to figure out what they have on the roster. He also said they will do two-a-days every other day. In recent years they had only two for the entire camp very early on. The extra work may help the conditioning that appeared to be lacking last year resulting in a rash of injuries.
