Injury Page.
Linebacker Swap: The Bills have severed ties with former fifth round pick Nic Harris. The linebacker was waived after failing his physical with the team. If Harris clears waivers in 24 hours the team can release him or put him on the reserved PUP list ending his season. Front Office Page.

Johnson No. 2 Receiver: Chan Gailey addressed the media following today's first training camp practice. It was in full pads and Gailey said it was sluggish. He confirmed that Trent Edwards is the number one quarterback and Steve Johnson was the number two wideout. He said Johnson earned that right in OTAs. He also felt Edwards made more plays in the offseason workouts. The coach said the competition and any spots is not over. Gailey confirmed that Chris Kelsay is out indefinitely after suffering a shoulder injury today. Depth Chart.

It started with a walk through with Edwards being followed by Ryan Fitzpatrick on the field for the offense. We will have more from the first day of camp later on.
Harris, Corto On PUP: The injury to Paul Posluszny is not bad enough to land him on the active PUP list but two teammates are not so lucky. Jon Corto and Nic Harris are on the list which keeps them on the 80 man roster. Harris still isn't all the way back from knee surgery after an injury late last season. Corto had wrist surgery recently and isn't expected to be ready until the third preseason game. Keith Ellison was sidelined for the first practice as he remains out with an undisclosed injury. Aaron Schobel has been placed on the reserve/did not report list as he continues to contemplate returning to the team in mid August. Injury Page.
Posluszny Recovering: The Bills announced that linebacker Paul Posluszny will be limited at camp for the first few weeks as he recovers from a groin sugery he had 2 weeks ago. The recovery is not expected to impact the linebacker's readiness for the season

Troup Signs Deal: Bills second round pick Torell Troup become the newest Buffalo Bill today by agreeing to terms with the club. The Bills have not yet announced the deal and do not provide financial terms of their contracts, but sources say it is a 4 year deal worth up to $4.61 million with $2.6 in guaranteed money. Troup is expected to play nose tackle in the new 3-4 defensive alignment and it appears that the future anchor of the defensive line will not miss any practices.
Camp Opens: Training camp officially starts today at St. John Fisher with both rookies and veterans expected to report. The Bills' top 2 draft picks, C.J. Spiller and Torell Troup, will likely miss the start of camp as neither has agreed to a contract with the Bills. It is expected that a deal with Troup could happen fairly quickly, while Spiller's deal will likely take longer as a number of first round picks remain unsigned and this has caused the rookie market to remain unsettled. Also expected to miss the start of training camp is Aaron Schobel who has shown no signs of returning to the team but has also not made any formal announcement about retiring.
Owens Catches On: Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens has found a home for the 2010 NFL season. After working out with Cincinnatti quarterback Carson Palmer, the Bengals have signed the journeyman receiver to a one year deal to become a Bengal.
