Players Organizing Workouts: It seems the Bills players are organizing workouts in Buffalo next week. Jon Corto said he has been working out with Fred Jackson, Lee Evans, and Terrence McGee. They will be joined on Monday by 20 to 30 players as workouts have been organized by Andra Davis and George Wilson via email. They will tentatively workout a week. Earlier this offseason Ryan Fitzpatrick hosted several receivers and Jackson for a passing camp near his home in Arizona. Scouting Changes: The Bills continue to makeover their scouting department. Today they announced that Chuck Cook is the new Director Of College Scouting and Tom Gibbons is the Director of Pro Personnel. Gibbons will take on some of the duties previously held by Director of Player Personnel Doug Whaley. He has added responsibilities on the college level and needs Gibbons to fill the hole. He is a Dunkirk native and was in the team's personnel department from 1992 to 2003. Cook has been around for 27 years in scouting departments around the league including 12 as the Director of College Scouting with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dareus To Play Inside Some: Buddy Nix addressed the Monday QB club yesterday and spoke on a variety of subjects. On Shawne Merriman, Nix said he's ahead of where he should be and as long as he gets well he will help the team much more than anyone they could have drafted. He is not getting old since he's only 26. On drafting a tight end, he said there wasn't one there they wanted. He liked Lance Kendricks but not enough to take him in the second round. On Marcell Dareus, Nix said he will play end but will likely kick inside next to Kyle Williams in a four man front and the nickel defense.

Depth Chart: We have updated our depth chart to represent where the Bills stand right now during the lockout. It has all the drafted players positioned on it. Exclusive rights and restricted free agents that were tendered are on the chart. Potential unrestricted free agents, including the ones that were tendered, are not on the chart. So players like Donte Whitner, Paul Posluszny, and Drayton Florence don't appear on the chart. Depending on how long the lockout goes, and the result of it, Poz and Whitner may end up being restricted. Since they were tendered just in case their rights would revert to the Bills and we would then re-add them to the chart. Depth Chart.
