Stevie Hits The Field: Stevie Johnson hit the field for the first time in the offseason yesterday. He caught a few passes and ran at half speed. He is recovering from groin surgery last month and should be full go in time for training camp. Injury Page.

Week 2 Complete: The Bills wrapped up week two of organized team activities with a closed 90 minute practice today. C.J. Spiller spoke to the media after practice and said he's very happy that Fred Jackson got his extension and said he's like a big brother to him. He is willing to do whatever the team wants him to do to win. Spiller said he's not a stat guy so numbers don't matter just winning does. One of the biggest questions on offense is how will Chan Gailey use the combo of Spiller and Jackson since there is only one football. The final week of OTAs begins Monday and will run four days next week.

OTA Day 2 Complete: The Bills held their second practice of this week's organized team activities, they will wrap up the week with a 90 minute practice tomorrow. Kelvin Sheppard spoke to the media after practice and said that he sees on film how much the defense has improved from last year. Terrence McGee told Joe Buscaglia of WGR that his injured knee is now at 75% and he expects to be fully recovered in time for training camp. He is not taking part in drills during the OTAs.

Injury Update: Kellen Heard is the latest banged up player who sat out OTAs yesterday. He got an undisclosed injury last week. Kyle Williams is taking part in limited team drills and will definitely be full go in time for training camp. The Bills hope Eric Wood, Mike Caussin, Torell Troup, Terrence McGee, and Mike Caussin is ready for camp. The players are off today before hitting the practice field tomorrow and Friday. Injury Page.

2nd Week Of OTAs Underway: The Bills started the second week of organized team activities on Tuesday. Chan Gailey said Erik Pears had minor surgery for an undisclosed injury and will be out until training camp. Tyler Thigpen remains sidelined with his abdomen tear but should return next week. Vince Young is taking second team reps in his place. Ryan Fitzpatrick seems to be throwing the ball well under the tutelage of QB coach David Lee. Fred Jackson expects tremendous things out of his quarterback this year. Fitz hit Scott Chandler and Naaman Roosevelt for big gainers on Tuesday. In practice they liberally rotated defensive linemen and Nick Barnett feels the unit can be among the league's best. Bryan Scott and Stephon Gilmore had interceptions in practice. Scott returned his for a touchdown. Gailey said Marcus Easley has an uphill battle and feels Cordy Glenn has the ability and work ethic to succeed. He feels C.J. Spiller's confidence is very high and he needs to leverage him with Jackson.

OTAs Resume Tomorrow: The 2nd week of organized team activites get underway tomorrow. The players will practice also on Wednesday and Friday for 90 minutes. Practices all begin at 12:35pm. On Monday some of the players are expected to take part in Jim Kelly's annual golf tournament.
