Gameday Grades: The Bills opened up a huge lead and barely held on thanks to some big plays by the defense as the offense struggled after an opening drive score in the third quarter. The grades will be mixed but the results are not as this was a huge win for the Bills. Gameday Grades.
Bills Blitz: Bacarri Rambo was involved in three of the Bills four takeaways that led them to a huge 22-17 primetime road division win against the Jets at the Meadowlands on Thursday night. Corey Graham picked off a pass to setup the first of three Dan Carpenter field goals that tied the game at 3 in the 2nd quarter. On the ensuing kickoff Rambo forced a fumble that Duke Williams picked up and ran it into the end zone for a touchdown. Carpenter missed the extra point but the Bills had a lead they wouldn't relinquish but it wasn't easy. Carpenter followed his 47 yard kick with a 41 yarder just before halftime to give the Bills a 12-3 lead at the half. The Bills took the opening kickoff in the 2nd half and drove down for a score when Tyrod Taylor hit Karlos Williams with a 26 yard touchdown pass. Williams is now the 2nd player in NFL history with a touchdown in each of his first six games. Rambo then recovered a fumble on the Jets next offensive play and setup a 29 yard field goal by Carpenter that could have been more if Taylor didn't take a needless sack. The Bills led 22-3 and then went into a shell and held on for dear life thanks to a couple of fourth down stops by the defense that helped them overcome four straight three and outs on offense. The Jets had an 80 yard drive in 8 plays to make it 22-10. Ronald Darby then stopped Brandon Marshall on a wide receiver screen on 4th down. The Jets didn't give up and Ryan Fitzpatrick hit Eric Decker with a 31 yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to make it a one score game. Colton Schmidt then misplayed a snap on a punt to set the Jets up but the Bills forced a fourth down incompletion in the end zone and then ran out most of the rest of the clock. Bills Blitz.
Injury Update: Mario Williams left the game in the first quarter with an illness and did not return. Nigel Bradham left the game after being hit in the nose when his helmet was ripped off, he mised two plays but returned. His nose was still bleeding after the game but says he's fine. Injury Page.

Gameday Inactives: The inactive list was led by a shocker, EJ Manuel was one of the inactives for the game and Josh Johnson will dress in his place. It is very surprising that he isn't the backup. Kyle Williams is inactive because of his knee injury. Cyrus Kouandjio is inactive after being listed as questionable with a knee injury but fellow tackle Seantrel Henderson is active despite an illness. Sammy Watkins, Mario Williams, and LeSean McCoy are active after being listed as probable. Stefan Charles is a surprise inactive as well with Kyle out. The other healthy scratches are Gabe Ikard, Mario Butler, and Randell Johnson.
Weather Not A Factor Tonight: The prime time battle at the Meadowlands will be played under cloudy skies as the rain should be gone by kickoff. The gametime temperature will be about 56° so it will be pretty mild. The winds will be increasing during the game as it will be out of the southwest up to 17mph by the end of the game.

Bills Short At Tackle: The Bills are pretty healthy heading into tomorrow night's game at all positions except offensive tackle where they may go into the game with just two players. Cordy Glenn and Jordan Mills are the only healthy tackles. Cyrus Kouandjio and Seantrel Henderson are both listed as questionable. Kouandjio has a knee injury that cost him the Miami game. Henderson is suffering from an undisclosed medical illness. Both players missed practice time this week although the team only had walk throughs this week. LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, and Mario Williams are listed as probable and all are expected to play. Kyle Williams has officially been ruled out. Injury Page.
Jets Game Preview: This division primetime battle has a circus like atmosphere with Rex Ryan going back to the Meadowlands and the Bills facing their former QB and head coach in Ryan Fitzpatrick and Chan Gailey who runs the offense for the Jets. Lost in the shuffle of team captains, twitter battles, and reunions is that this is a very big game for both teams battling for a wild card spot. With the conference bunched up with mediocre teams this game is a very big midseason matchup. Complete Preview.

McCoy Should Play: Rex Ryan addressed the media before practice today wearing a Clemson helmet to boot. He said LeSean McCoy should play on Thursday night but it is a question how much he will be able to play on his tender shoulder. Albert Breer reports that it is just a strain and didn't need an MRI but his status is up in the air on a short week. McCoy and Seantrel Henderson were limited in today's walk through. Ryan acknowledged that Henderson is dealing with a medical issue. He is now limited with an illness after yesterday he was limited for non injury reasons. Sammy Watkins was limited again and Mario Williams was limited with a calf injury after being full go on Monday. Cyrus Kouandjio was sidelined after being limited on Monday. He was doing work in the fieldhouse with trainers. The coach continues to say while this is a big game, it isn't because he's returning to the Meadowlands. He also says he didn't circle this game on his calendar because everyone knows he circles the Patriots games. Injury Page.
Enthusiasm Not There? The Bills are coming off a big win over Miami but in his latest column Tony Bogyo doesn't show too much enthusiasm as the Bills have to turn the tables real quick with a game Thursday night in New Jersey. Complete Story.
IK To Be A Captain: Rex Ryan created a stir yesterday when he confirmed that IK Enemkpali will be a captain against the Jets Thursday night. Rex Ryan has used players as captains his whole career that are going against their former teams. It's a bit different for Enemkpali though as he was cut by the Jets after punching Geno Smith in the jaw. Ryan also said Matthew Mulligan will be a captain.

McCoy Sits: The Bills had no time to bask in the glory of yesterday's 33-17 win over Miami with the Jets looming on Thursday night. They held a walk through practice this afternoon at One Bills Drive. LeSean McCoy was in attendance but did not practice along with Kyle Williams. Rex Ryan wasn't sure if McCoy had an MRI or not and reiterated his statement from Sunday that it was a good sign that McCoy wanted to come back in the game. Ryan also said once again that Williams will not play Thursday night and Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News said sources tell him he will miss the Monday night game against New England as well. Sammy Watkins was limited and Seantrel Henderson was not participating but it was not because of an injury. Cyrus Kouandjio was limited after missing Sunday's game. The Bills are healthier than the Jets who list 17 players on their initial injury report. Injury Page.
