Move Reversed: Yesterday the Bills released Deon Lacey and claimed Tyrell Adams off of waivers. Today they reversed that move. Adams was placed on the waived/injured list and Lacey was re-signed. The move was forced when Adams failed his physical. Front Office Page.
Matthews Not Progressing That Quickly: Sean McDermott said today that Jordan Matthews hasn't done as much in practice as they would have hoped to this point. They will see where he is tomorrow. He was limited in practice today on the positive note E.J. Gaines and Leonard Johnson were full go today and should be ready for Sunday. Cordy Glenn was also full go and McDermott said he is close to being ready to start again but that has to be earned in practice. Injury Page.
Game Preview: The Bills get back in action on Sunday as they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Era Field. The big question this week is will Jameis Winston play for the Bucs or will old friend Ryan Fitzpatrick get the start. The Bills need a victory to avoid falling back to .500 as they open a stretch of three home games in the next four contests. Complete Preview.

Roster Moves: The Bills swapped linebackers at the bottom of the roster by claiming Tyrell Adams off of waivers and releasing Deon Lacey. They also added CB Sammy Seamster to the practice squad. Adams was released by the Raiders this week after they signed NaVorro Bowman. He was the backup middle linebacker and had 18 tackles on the season for the Raiders. The adding of former Bills Seamster gives them injury insurance if E.J. Gaines or Leonard Johnson can't go on Sunday. The team released Greg Mabin yesterday and he signed with San Francisco today. McDermott Presser: Sean McDermott held his normal Wednesday press conference before practice today. On the injury front, Jordan Matthews is still day to day and will practice today on a limited basis and has been cleared. He said the possibility exists that he will play on Sunday. E.J. Gaines and Leonard Johnson will be limited and Cordy Glenn is full go. Charles Clay and Ramon Humber obviously will not practice. On Deonte Thompson he likes his speed, his blocking in the run game, his physical play and his special teams ability. There is a familiarity with Tyrod Taylor which is nice to have plus his former time in Buffalo in 2014. It wasn't a deciding factor however. They will see if they can get him up to speed in time to play on Sunday. On Taylor he said he has had some very good playoff caliber moments but he needs to continue to grow like the rest of the football team. They haven't had enough very good days as a team. He thinks having five offensive tackles is a good problem to have since it's a position that is hard to find. He has confidence in all five of them. They will look at everything at the position going forward including a trade. He doesn't worry about chemistry being hurt by the defense outplaying the offense. He feels that won't happen with this team. He also feels there has been moments where the offense has played well. Good football teams are very unselfish and they continue to evolve. He knows playing in Orchard Park and this stadium is a unique setting and playing three of the next four at home is a big opportunity. He said he loves going to the RV lot before or after a game because there are many special people over there. On Seantrel Henderson, he has picked up where he has left off and he is impressed with his professionalism. Injury Page.

Bills Add WR: The Bills tried to bolster their hurting wide receiver corps by bringing back someone who spent time with the club in the past. The Bills have signed Deonte Thompson and released Joe Banyard to make room for him. He had been released by the Bears on Wednesday. He had spent the past two seasons in Chicago mainly as a kickoff returner with a 24 yard average per return. He had 35 catches for 445 yards and 3 TDs as a reserve receiver. He adds much needed speed to the receiving corps. The Bills also added safety L.J. McCray to the practice squad and released OL Jordan Mudge and DE Marquavis Lewis from that unit leaving an open spot there. Front Office Page. Depth Chart.

Henderson Activated: The Bills have activated Seantrel Henderson from the suspended list and he is now on the active roster. They released CB Greg Mabin which may mean it's a good sign that E.J. Gaines will be available on Sunday. It is a bit surprising they kept Conor McDermott who has been inactive most weeks since being signed. They now have five tackles on their depth chart.
Matthews Making Major Improvement: In a stunning development Jordan Matthews was back on the practice field for the Bills today after missing one game with thumb surgery. He was originally forecast to miss a month. Sean McDermott says he has an outside chance at playing on Sunday and is day to day. They will see how he responds during the week but the coach said he made tremendous progress over the bye week. He didn't do much in practice. The coach said Ramon Humber and Charles Clay are still sidelined and week to week. E.J. Gaines and Leonard Johnson were limited in practice today as they recover from groin and hamstring injuries respectively. Shareece White is now fine and will be full go in practice. The Bills have until 4pm to decide if they will activate Seantrel Henderson from the suspended list. The coach was non committal. He was also not ready to decide who will start at right guard this week as he said it is an open competition between John Miller and Vlad Ducasse. While not ruling out adding Ryan Groy to the competition he said he likes him as the backup center right now. The coach also said they are still evaluating left tackle as Cordy Glenn rounds back in shape after his injury. Marcell Dareus was excused from practice today for personal reasons. He was at the Alabama game on Saturday. Injury Page.
