Schedule Released: It's time to make your fall plans as the NFL officially released the NFL schedule tonight after leaks throughout the day. The Bills will being the season on the road in Baltimore before coming home week 2 to face Anthony Lynn and the Los Angeles Chargers. They will play in primetime only once and it will be a home game against the Patriots on Monday Night Football on October 29th. They will then host the Bears the next Sunday. All other games are scheduled for 1pm at this time. The most intriguing road matchup of the season is the game in Green Bay and it will not be played in the frozen tundra as it will be on September 30th. The Bills will be on the road in five of the first seven weeks of the season. According to research done by Mike Rodak it is the first time this has happened in team history and the first time in the NFL since the 1990 Bengals. Rodak did further research and found out only 17 times in NFL history a team started with five road games in seven weeks. They will only play at home on Sunday at 1pm twice before November. They will play four division games out of five December games ending the season against Miami for a second year in a row, this time it is at home. Schedule Page.

Fred To Retire A Bill: Fred Jackson will officially retire from the NFL today as a member of the Buffalo Bills. He will sign a one day contract that the league does so longtime players can retire as a member of the team they played the most for. Jackson had a fantastic career as an underrated running back from Marv Levy's alma mater of Coe College, to the arena 2 league, to NFL Europe before being one of the best backs in team history. The Wall of Fame is likely in his future as well. Congrats to one of the all time favorites of Bills Mafia.

Pre-Draft Presser: Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott held the annual pre-draft press conference today and as is always the case with these things, they didn't say anything of consequence. The first question was about Richie Incognito, Beane wouldn't say anything except that he is on the reserved/retired list and if he wants to come back he has to get approval from the commissioner. McDermott said that the players showed up for the offseason program in shape and ready to go. On the draft, Beane said that every team needs a franchise quarterback but hedged his bet saying that the draft could be successful if they don't draft one. He did say that their board is very close to being set and they are looking a players that are grouped closely together to rank them. They are also very close to ranking the order of the top QBs in the draft class as well.
Bills Sign Two: The Bills added two depth players as they being their offseason program. They have signed WR Jeremy Kerley and DT Tenny Palepoi to one year contracts. Kerley is coming off his second stint with the Jets and served a four game suspension last year for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Palepoi played with Star Lotelelei in college and was an undrafted free agent who spent his first four years in San Diego. The team also announced that their four exclusive rights free agents signed their tenders. Lafayette Pitts, Eddie Yarbrough, Nick O'Leary, and Logan Thomas are now signed. In other news, Richie Incognito remains retired as he was a no show at the voluntary workout. Depth Chart.
Offseason Conditioning Program Begins: The roots for the 2018 season begins today as the Bills begin their offseason conditioning program. Not much happens on the field in phase one of the program but it will be interesting to see who is there and who isn't. Would it surprise anyone if Richie Incognito showed up? Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott are expected to address the media at 1pm but don't expect any breaking news to come out of it as everyone is very coy leading up to the draft.
