Week 12: Bills vs. Chiefs
at
Sunday, Nov. 26th
1:00pm ET
This week's matchup is a battle of two reeling teams the Bills have lost three straight games in spectacular fashion. The Chiefs have lost four of five after starting the season 5-0, including a loss to the horrible Giants on Sunday. It's also a game where Sean McDermott is battling his former mentor in Andy Reid and has put Tyrod Taylor back in at quarterback.

INJURY UPDATE

The Bills will likely be without Kelvin Benjamin who suffered a knee injury last week that isn't serious but may make him sit this week. Two offensive linemen remain sidelined as Cordy Glenn continues to battle foot and ankle problems and John Miller has an ankle injury. They hope to get Mike Tolbert and Jordan Matthews back after both missed last week's game.

The Chiefs have a couple of linebackers missing practice time this week. Dee Ford has a back injury and Terrance Smith has a concussion.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

RB LeSean McCoy vs. SS Daniel Sorenson:
McCoy had a bounce back game last week and can replicate that against the Chiefs 29th ranked run defense. Sorenson leads the team in tackles from the strong safety spot.

CB Leonard Johnson vs. TE Travis Kelce:
Johnson will likely lineup against Kelce from the slot position as Kelce is basically a wide receiver at the tight end position and a darn good one at that.

DT Kyle Williams vs. RB Kareem Hunt:
The Bills run defense has been atrocious the past three weeks and it starts with the leader of the defensive front in the veteran Williams. It doesn't get any easier with Hunt who is second in the NFL in rushing.

HC Sean McDermott vs. HC Andy Reid:
It's the student against the teacher and both coaches are in a slump. McDermott has had it especially rough lately with his gutsy call to bench Taylor last week that blew up in his face. He shore needs a win against his old mentor.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Let Tyrod Move: With Taylor back in the lineup they need to take the handcuffs off and let him do what he does best. That means move him around and throw on the run from a moving pocket. He should get upward of 50 yards on the ground in this game.

2. Stiffer Defense: No matter what happens at the QB spot they won't be able to win, or even come close, if the defense doesn't stiffen up. They need to play a physcial game and not continue to allow points in record breaking fashion.

3. Start Strong: Lost in last week's fiasco was that they scored their first touchdown of the first quarter all year. They need to score early this week because if they fall behind early it may become an avalanche of points against them.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

There is no possible way I can pick the Bills to win or even make this a battle even with Taylor back in at QB. They never play well in Kansas City and they have been the worst team in football the past three weeks. KC is highly motivated to end their downturn and they are more equipped to do so than the Bills. I'll give them an extra TD with Tyrod in the game but the defense is so bad I expect a fourth straight blowout:
Chiefs 41, Bills 20

Season Prediction Record: (5-5)
Season Record Against The Spread: (3-5-2)
