INJURY UPDATE

The Bills will be without E.J. Gaines and Charles Clay who have been ruled out. Ramon Humber and Jordan Poyer will be gametime decisions and are listed as questionable.

The Jets have a longer injury list headlined by DL Muhammed Wilkerson who has shoulder and foot injuries and has not practiced this week. OL Brandon Shell, RB Lawrence Thomas, DBs Morris Claiborne, and Terrence Brooks have missed practice time in the shortened work week.

Check out our Bills Daily Injury Page throughout the week for the latest updates on the injured players.

KEY MATCHUPS

RB LeSean McCoy vs. LB Demario Davis:
Shady needs a big game to help the Bills get this victory. Davis leads the Jets in tackles and sacks.

QB Tyrod Taylor vs. FS Marcus Maye:
Taylor needs to watch the safeties especially Maye who has two interceptions on the season.

DE Jerry Hughes vs. LT Kelvin Beachum:
Hughes is somewhat quietly having a terrific season and will lineup against the 6th year pro Beachum. It will be a good battle to watch.

DB Tre'Davious White vs. WR Robby Anderson:
White has been following the best receivers around the past two weeks and for the Jets that's Anderson.

KEYS TO THE GAME

1. Stay Focused: A short week can make a team come out flat when riding high on a two game winning streak. If they don't stay focused they can easily lose this game.

2. Shady, Shady, & More Shady: When Shady gets 100 yards they usually win, give him the rock early and often and watch him glide through the Jets defense.

3. Make McCown Uncomfortable: The Bills need to put pressure on Josh McCown who has been sacked 25 times this year. Keep him from having time to pick apart the middle of the field which QBs have had success against the Bills defense this year.

BILLS DAILY PREDICTION

I am a little nervous about this game but not as nervous as I would be in past years. It's a new era (no pun attended) in Buffalo and Sean McDermott likely will not allow the team to come out flat and look past the Jets. If the team remains focused, like I think they will, they should pull out the win but it won't be easy in primetime at a wild road environment:
Bills 20, Jets 16

Season Prediction Record: (4-3)
Season Record Against The Spread: (2-3-2)
