Bills Add Practice Squad Player: The Bills filled the open spot on their practice squad by adding LB Thomas Williams. He gives the Bills some depth at a position they are lacking after the release yesterday of Chris Ellis. Williams was a sixth round draft pick of Jacksonville back in 2008 and played in six games for them that year. He spent last year on the practice squads of Seattle and New England.
Maybin Free Fall: The Bills may have released Chris Ellis but you get the feeling if Chan Gailey had is way Aaron Maybin may have been the linebacker let go yesterday. Gailey admitted that Maybin is really struggling right now and that is why he's not on the field. He played two plays in each of the last two weeks and Gailey said they like Antonio Coleman and the injured Arthur Moats. Depth Chart.

Players Only Meeting: The Bills held a players only meeting when they arrived at the facilities today. Reggie Torbor did all the talking when he realized he was one of the long time veterans. He relayed some of the messages he heard in his career to the players telling them not to take for granted playing in the league. He feels his message was received well and hopes the players let it soak in and come back on Wednesday ready to get back to work.
Wilson Speaks: Ralph Wilson spoke to the Associated Press today and said the team is at least three years away from rebuilding. He took total blame for the team's state right now and said that drafting a QB is the top priority of the team. Buddy Nix is leaving the confines of One Bills Drive to scout the best college QBs over the next two weeks while the Bills are on a bye.
Nelson Activated; Ellis Released: The Bills made a move that was expected today as they activated Shawn Nelson from the suspension list. The surprising move was that they released Chris Ellis to make room. Everyone expected John McCargo would be let go since he has been inactive every week.
