Rogers Released: The handwriting was on the wall as Justin Rogers has been inactive for several weeks. He was released today after almost three years with the team since being drafted in the 7th round of the 2011 draft. He saw a lot of playing time early in the year because of injuries and struggled mightily. The team did not fill his roster spot but did swap corners on the practice squad as they let go Johnny Adams and added Mario Butler. He was most recently with the Broncos this past summer but didn't make the final cut. Front Office Page.
Johnson Says He'll Be Ready: Stevie Johnson echoed Doug Marrone's comments from yesterday and said he will be back on the field following the bye week. He is very optimistic he will feel good enough to play and will stay in Buffalo over the bye to rehab the groin injury along with other ailments he has been hampered with this year. Injury Page.
Nice Win: Tony Bogyo breaks down a great win for the Bills but tempers his enthusiasm as he warns fans to not talk about the playoffs because this team just isn't ready for that yet. Complete Story.

Jackson Fine: The Bills are fairly healthy already but will use the bye week to heal up other injuries. Fred Jackson aggravated his MCL sprain against the Jets but returned to the game. Doug Marrone said he's fine and will be ready for the Falcons after the bye. The coach also thinks he may have Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods back for that game as well. Injury Page.
Added Motivation? A lot is being said about the Jets team trip to Dave and Busters on Saturday night instead of a team meeting. The players were made aware of it before the game but Doug Marrone did not mention it to the players. He let them interpet it anyway they wanted to but it was obvious by some comments the players were ticked off and took it as a lack of respect. It appeared the Jets felt they could beat the Bills while taking Saturday night off.
